Explainer video

Dotshop is a company that provides domains for online shops. While working in Yans Media I have participated in many start-up projects for creating explainer videos for their marketing strategies.

My role in this project was creating a storyboard, which means coming up with the whole concept of the video, designing a unique style and creating all visuals.

First stage is creating storyboard, which is the story-narrative based presentation of sketches. Here are some frames.

Styleframes

The next stage of this production process is composing a unique style for the brand. In this case the client agreed to go with a mixed media style. For creating this style I have used illustrated vector elements, patterns and also photo assets. I have created a unique character design for this video and created style frames using the client’s provided color palette. You can see the final style frames below.
